I've grown to love Wednesdays. I drive up to Winston-Salem and babysit my cousin's little boy, Lucas. It's been a regular occurrence for about 9 months now and it's been the biggest blessing to me. When I got the job as a guidance counselor, it was almost a stipulation that I could have Wednesdays off so that I could keep my weekly commitment to babysit. Maybe it is silly, but I want him to remember me one day as someone who really cared about him and not just a distant relative. Maybe it's because I love his mommy so much that it's just natural to love him too :) He calls me "Ya Ya" and I wouldn't have it any other way. I will be his Ya Ya forever.
